About Us:

With a passion for teaching and mentoring, This Way to PA emerged to guide the next generation of PAs from pre-PA to PA student to certified PA. After navigating the abundance of pre-PA requirements, application process, and the rigors of PA school, I witnessed the gaps and space for much needed support. The PA journey is one unique to the profession that no family member, friend, nor teacher outside of this specific portion of the healthcare world truly understands.

As a nontraditional PA applicant in numerous ways, I learned to navigate the path with very little resources or guidance available. However, through grit, resilience, and hard work, I was admitted in my first application cycle to a top PA program, Emory University. I experienced the common struggles of learning new study techniques, coping with the stress and anxiety that is PA school, test taking strategies specific to End of Rotation exams as well as PANCE, the board certification exam, and so much more. While I excelled in PA school and found ways to go above and beyond through volunteer work and creating a nutrition-based club amongst my classmates to augment our learning, I always felt the PA process didn’t need to be so mysterious and stressful. There had to be a gentler way.

As a result, I am achieving this through the many services with This Way to PA in both one on one and group settings while simultaneously helping clients build confidence, clarity, and community. I continue to keep my pulse on the ever-changing healthcare field and PA profession by not only working in clinic to support patients, but actively engaging in the educational process by teaching classes in PA programs and to pre-PA groups, precepting PA students, speaking at conferences, assisting with PA program admissions, tutoring PA students, mentoring, and so much more.

The goal of This Way to PA is to help every individual who wants to be a PA-C achieve his or her dream. I focus on positively affecting the PA profession by helping to create dedicated, empowered, and competent PAs. Don’t reinvent the wheel. Work with a PA who can not only guide and mentor, but also provide you the roadmap to thrive.
